Attendance & Voting

Please note that in-person attendance is required in order to:

  • Vote during the convention

  • Participate in the election of new officers

  • Receive awards presented at the banquet

Only individuals who are physically present and checked in on-site will be eligible to vote or receive awards.

Non-members do not have voting rights.
Remote or virtual participation does not meet voting or award eligibility requirements.

Payment & Refund Policy

  • Registration must be paid in full ($200) to complete registration.
  • Cancellations made after April 13 are non-refundable.

The primary airport for the convention is St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). Attendees may also travel by car, bus, or Amtrak. Shuttle transportation is available upon request—please indicate your travel plans during registration.

Financial assistance is available for those who wish to apply for an ECD Travel Grant. Additional information and application details will be provided during registration.

Accessibility & Accommodations

ECD is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive convention experience.

  • ASL interpreters will be provided
  • Live captioning will be displayed on screen

*Daily Office Prayer (Optional) will be at 8:30 am & 4:30 pm at St. Thomas. 

Check-In & Confirmation

  • All attendees must check in on-site upon arrival.
  • Membership status will be verified at check-in.
  • A confirmation email will be sent after registration is completed.
  • Additional details and the convention schedule will be shared closer to the event.

Banquet Information

  • The banquet fee is included with registration
  • Dietary selections will be collected as part of the registration process
  • Awards will be presented during the banquet; recipients must be present in person to receive awards
  • Nominations for the awards will be emailed to all registered participants.
  • Awards Nominations Are Now Open — We Invite You to Submit a Nomination!

Board Nominations

Nominees must be present in person at the convention to be considered. A nomination form will be open 60 days before the convention.
