Thank you for your interest in becoming a new member of the Episcopal Conference of the Deaf (ECD).

If you wish to join ECD as a new member, please complete the membership sign-up on this page. Those planning to attend the 2026 ECD Convention must complete membership before registering for the convention in order to receive new-member benefits.

Why Join ECD?

Membership is open to anyone who wishes to support the Episcopal Church’s ministry with Deaf and hard-of-hearing people. For only $15 per calendar year, you become part of the oldest and only Episcopal organization dedicated to Deaf ministry, faithfully serving for over 140 years and continuing to grow.

Your membership directly supports:

• Advocacy and representation for Deaf Episcopalians

• Resources for congregations and dioceses

• Emerging and ongoing Deaf ministry initiatives

Membership is valid for the full calendar year, with no deadlines and no late fees. You may also include a tax-deductible donation to further strengthen this vital work.

Convention-Related Membership Benefits (2026)

New members who join ECD on or after January 1, 2026 and attend the convention in person are eligible for:

• 25% complimentary hotel room benefit

• $50 stipend upon arrival

• Voting rights, provided the member is present in person and checked in

Membership benefits are verified at convention check-in.
